This site is not really about traditional folk music but contemporary singer-songwriters. it is run by Alan Rowoth who is the greatest advocate of this music on the planet. He runs the folkmusic and folkbiz listservs. This website has SO many links to other resources that it's the only url you need to know. You will find everything else here.

John McGlinchey runs this website hosting pages for independent artists (including me!) He is very involved in the Philadelphia area folk scene and volunteers endlessly for the Philadelphia Folksong Society.

This website posts touring schedules for performers. It's free to post to, free to access and has an incredible search machine. If you're going to D.C. for the weekend and want to know who's playing there, you can search by city and date and musi-cal will tell you everyone playing there (everyone who has posted to their database, of course).

What can I say? One of the best guitars made on the planet. All my guitar parts on my recordings were recorded with my 1975 Martin 000-28. It was an expensive purchase years ago, yet the guitar has only grown in value since. The company has lent me various guitars to tour with over the past several years. I have done some clinics for them and run their showcases at Folk Alliance, in addition to travelling with CEO Chris Martin to Europe and China.
